Schladming-Dachstein Card – The ticket for over 100 experiences

As guest in the Hotel Timmelbauerhof, you will receive your Schladming-Dachstein Card from 1 night or more. It is valid for the entire stay, including the arrival day from 13 clock and the departure day. In the period from 18.5. until 01.11.2023 for example the cable car to the Dachstein Glacier once per week is free of charge. All cable cars, toll roads, museums, theme parks, hiking offers and much more included.

Hiking

Ramsau am Dachstein has been awarded the Austrian Hiking Seal of Approval. 200 km of hiking trails – from a walk across the plateau, hikes in the alpine pasture area up to the summit cross on the highest mountains. Hikers, mountaineers, Nordic walkers and ambitious runners love the wide meadows and tranquil forest trails in the alpine nature landscape at the foot of the Dachstein.

The Schladming-Dachstein Summercard includes 7 mountain railways and 7 toll roads.

Mountainbike and E-Bike

Numerous excursions, day trips and with the Dachstein Round, even a 3-day tour can be completed by mountain bike or e-bike. 16 sign-posted laps, of which 11 are available for e-bikes in all difficulty levels. The e-bikes will take you effortlessly up the mountain. A supply network of batteries is located from Gröbming via Schladming and Ramsau am Dachstein to Filzmoos.

MTB- und E-Bike Tours
In Ramsau am Dachstein you will find 16 marked mountain bike trails. You can start directly from the Hotel Timmelbauerhof to some interesting routes.

Via Ferrata

Ramsau am Dachstein is the cradle of the via ferrata. A variety of different climbing routes are located at and around the Dachstein. In addition to the oldest via ferrata in the world, the “Randkluft via ferrata” at the Dachstein, as well as the Super Ferrata (“Anna”, “The Johann” and “Schulteranstieg” – a total of about 1200 meters) and 4 children climbing trails at the “Sattelberg” in Ramsau am Dachstein.

Mountain sports enthusiasts will find in Ramsau am Dachstein with 22 via ferratas, in every level of difficulty exactly the right mixture. 7 of them are located near the valley and are also suitable for families.

In summer, those interested in via ferrata can complete a beginner’s course at the Sattelberg. With tips and techniques from the Ramsauer mountain guides.
Family, Kids and youth climbing
For the kids there is the “Sattelberg” next to the children’s educational trail, a children’s climbing trail and 3 youth climbing trails. Guided tours are offered by the Ramsauer mountain guides.

Ramsau am Dachstein is a great family resort with numerous adventure and adventure places. The Timmelbauerhof is located directly at the foot of the Sattelberg. Here you will find the first Austrian environmental educational trail for children, including children’s and youth climbing routes. Excursion destinations such as the Silberkarklamm or the Lodenwalke can be reached on foot in 30 minutes.

Family friendly Atractions
For children there is a large playground at the Timmelbauerhof with trampoline and swing. Lots of space to romp and play. The heated outdoor pool is very popular with families.

The Dachstein
The excursion destination Dachstein at 2700m above sea level. The easternmost glacier of the Alps, suspension bridge with stairs to nowhere, observation deck Skywalk and Ice Palace should definitely be planned. Gondola reservation required in summer.
